Interactive access to information and services is instrumental to get a "new touch on Healthcare", i.e. to enable patients for a more active role in health issues. Inspired also by Digital Agenda for Europe Key Action 13, many regions have enabled online interaction with healthcare services, including online access to Electronic Health Records (EHR). Our partners provide their citizens/patients with a mature orchestration of meaningful eHealth services. Joining forces with user and professional associations, we share an open debate on the lessons learned. We hope we have encouraged other EU regions to foster their use of innovative and interactive healthcare services. Lessons learned from 10+ years of services to the general public were presented to trigger a fruitful debate with European stakeholders.
