DESCRIPTION: One of the next major XiA milestones will be the XiA Educathon, which will take place in Pisa during the Hospitals on FHIR User Days from 19-21 October 2026.\nThe educathon format is central to the spirit of XiA (Europe’s Xpanding Innovative Alliance).\nIn healthcare, hackathons help develop solutions, and connectathons help test interoperability. The XiA educathon brings the education dimension into this culture of practice.\nIt creates a space where participants can work on interoperability-related learning challenges, explore practical scenarios, test ideas, and connect education with implementation.\nThe Pisa Educathon will also be an important moment for the XiA Community of Practice.\nThis October 2026 event will help:\n\nActivate the Italian ecosystem.\nBring together stakeholders around real learning needs.\nCollect targeted feedback on XiA themes and outputs.\n\n\nMore information will be shared soon.\n
