DESCRIPTION: \nThis event has been postponed until further notice\n \n \nThe 2nd WHO Symposium on the Future of Digital Health Systems in the European Region will take place at the UN City, in Copenhagen, Denmark on 4-5 March 2020. \n \nThe Symposium is hosted by the WHO Regional Office for Europe, together with the Norwegian Centre for e-Health Research and the Clalit Research Institute.\n \nThe event is expected to bring together an audience of over 400 participants, from European Region and beyond. They will discuss a number of important topics of importance to the digitalization of the health systems agenda.\n \nThe Symposium aims to engage Member States, partners and key thought leaders in continuing the dialogue on shaping the priorities for public health action on digital health in the WHO European Region.\n \nInput from the Symposium will be used to validate the further development of the European roadmap for the digitalization of health systems. \n \nThe Symposium will take place over two days. It will serve as an opportunity for participants to: • Identify potential factors and steps in implementing areas crucial to the digitalization of national health systems and the development of safe and inclusive digital health services; \n• Unpack the public health benefits and deficits of emerging technologies \n• Provide an evidence-base for their broad-scale adoption; \n• Identify approaches to health technologies that address and mitigate the emergence of a digital divide in European health systems; and \n• Help refine the approach and content of the European roadmap for the digitalization of health systems.\n \nLearn more about the speakers.\n \nFor registration, please contact via email: EUDigitalHealth@who.int.\n \nFor more information, visit the official website of the event.\n
