A nationwide programme for telemedical support of large patient groups is currently being rolled out in Denmark. Following a stepwise course, the first wave includes patients suffering from severe COPD, the next wave patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases, followed by additional large patient groups.
The programme ensures full interoperability across platforms and sectors: hospitals, GPs and primary healthcare services.
The webinar will outline the programme plan and status, the supporting national data infrastructure, evaluation plans, and the background behind the programme and national/international evidence of various types of telemedical intervention outcomes.
