Collaborating for Digital Health and Care in Europe
Community Update
[Greeting]
This month EHTEL has handpicked for you key updates on implementation tools, EUprojects, and must-attend upcoming events.
First, learn about what patients and their carers really need. A recent EHTEL and COMFORTage webinar focused on patients and carers dealing with dementia and frailty.
This webinar was the first webinar of the COMFORTage Community Forum (CCF) series, belonging to the "Dementia and Frailty Service Delivery Models" thematic area, led by EHTEL.
Here is a look at the latest and most useful information:
On 21 March 2025, a COMFORTage webinar, organised in collaboration with EHTEL, focused on an analysis of patient and carer/caregiver needs.
This was the first webinar of the COMFORTage Community Forum (CCF) series, belonging to the "Dementia and Frailty Service Delivery Models" thematic area, led by EHTEL. It included a diverse and broad panel, interactive discussions, and polls.
EHTEL focuses on helping implementers. Learn about the tools and methods which can help implementers with service readiness, scale up and innovation adoption. Draw ideas from EHTEL's Service Readiness Level model and DigitalHealthUptake's executive digests and blueprints.
EHTEL welcomes the start of the implementation initiative, MyHealth@MyHands. EHTEL is an associated partner in this project, and will support it by connecting the project consortium to the EHTEL network. Several EHTEL members contribute to the project: Andaman7 and MZCR.
The i2X – Intelligent Implementations of the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) project is funded by the Digital Europe Programme. EHTEL is proud to be involved in i2X as an associate partner, along its members: TIC Salut and CHU Liège.
A Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) shared learning webinar explored the synergies between the two projects: THCS and EDiHTA (European Digital Health Technology Assessment). Its focus was onhow digital health technology assessment can contribute to the transformation of health and social care systems. EHTEL presented 30+ existing tools, models, and frameworks that focus on value assessment and platform implementation.
EHTEL focuses on how health and care systems can use digital technologies to improve people's health. We add our support to our member Lovexair in encouraging as many people as possible to provide data in support of public health research - more specifically to a global lung health map.
Over the four-year project duration, Equicares will come up with a co-created actionable roadmap on how to improve access to mental health care using innovative assistive technologies, while strengthening the voice and advocacy of vulnerable groups. EHTEL is delighted to be part of the project, leading the Equicares large-scale “replication campaign”.
