COMFORTage Twinning Open Call

Engaging Adopters for the Transfer of Pilot Good Practices

Comfortage twinnings

The COMFORTage project invites organisations interested in strengthening innovation in services, environments and technologies supporting active and healthy ageing during the life course to participate in the COMFORTage Twinning Programme.

Twinnings are collaboration processes: they connect COMFORTage with other projects willing to adopt and replicate its model. The programme supports the transfer, adaptation and potential adoption of innovative solutions emerging from the 13 COMFORTage pilots.The practical pilot experiences generated – to be twinned – range across different clinical, organisational, and service contexts.

The twinning programme has five aims to:

  • share the innovations and lessons learned from the COMFORTage pilots;
  • identify organisations interested in exploring the adoption or adaptation of project’s results and technical solutions as evaluated in the context of its pilots;
  • support potential adopters in analysing implementation conditions and contextual requirements;
  • facilitate the development of initial transfer and adaptation plans;
  • expand the COMFORTage ecosystem and strengthen collaboration between project partners and external stakeholders.

What is in it for me?

Ten selected participants will engage with the COMFORTage consortium to explore how transferable elements of the project’s pilot solutions could be applied or adapted in their own contexts. The twinning exercise has five phases. Involvement will be supported by a two-person participation budget.

Participants in the twinning programme will join the COMFORTage ecosystem as “COMFORTage Fellow Innovators”. They will  explore adoption pathways and test some of the digital tools developed in the project (through COMFORTage Community Forum and more).
