Online workshop organised by EHTEL and Xt-EHR
This on-line workshop aims to explore how EHR systems users can best benefit from AI-supported monitoring and decision support systems.
The use of the EHRxF foreseen in the EHDS is present in the background of this webinar. In this context, we are aiming at capturing the real requirements for meaningful interactions between EHR and AI solutions.
AI solutions can be considered both as a data consumer and a data provider (transformer) of EHR systems - in the latter case, especially when dealing with unstructured data. AI is therefore not just an endpoint; it is also becoming a key enabler of the FAIRification process. The focus of this workshop will however be AI as an EHR data consumer.
For this workshop, Xt-EHR is inviting all current EHRxF-related projects currently working on and with EHR systems, i.e. xShare, i2X, myHealthinMyHands, and XIA.
Prior to workshop, EHTEL will circulate an agenda and a short briefing document to all registered attendees.
As an outcome of this workshop, EHTEL will produce a briefing paper inspired by Xt-EHR WP5 deliverables and aiming at identifying “European-level requirements and constraints for FAIR data structures to enable communication between EHDS compliant EHR systems and algorithm-based tools.” The focus of this report is thus clearly on data, although other legal, ethical and organisational aspects are also to be tackled.
Xt-EHR is also happy to announce that this report will be presented publicly in Helsinki on 21 January, during the EHTEL Thought Leader Symposium embedded in the Radical Health Festival Helsinki.
