On 2 April 2026, EQUICARES is hosting a one-day deliberation event in Brussels, EQUICARES MapTheGap Mental Health Equity Mapping Hackathon.
The event is planned as a deliberative workshop. It offers a unique space where participants will contribute to ensuring the assessment tools presented are inclusive, culturally sensitive, practical, and effective.
The event will adopt a cooperative format, focused on collaboration and co-creation.
Participants will work in interdisciplinary teams to refine and prioritise indicators capturing mental healthcare access barriers and to strengthen the practical usability of the Levesque Access Framework.

Key Objectives
- Identify and prioritise qualitative and quantitative access indicators
- Improve the framework’s contextual relevance across healthcare levels
- Develop actionable recommendations to enhance its applicability
