Multi-stakeholder Online Workshop led by European Patients’ Forum (EPF)

DigitalHealtEurope is organising a multi-stakeholder workshop focusing on Digital Tools for Patient Empowerment and Person-Centred Care – best practices that boost cooperation between patients and healthcare professionals. The workshop will be hosted by the European Patient Forum, partner of DigitalHealtEurope partner.

Over the course of two days, the workshop will engage patient leaders and other health stakeholders with an interest in digital tools that have a potential to boost patient empowerment and person-centred care, and will foster collaboration between patients and healthcare professionals.

The Objectives of the workshop will be:

  • Discuss a draft patient empowerment roadmap.
  • Bring together digital solutions experts, developers, and others to validate EPF’s in-depth analyses.
  • Further identify barriers and enablers.

The central recommendations listed in the empowerment roadmap - to engage more patients and caregivers in large-scale healthcare ecosystems - will be put forward. Constructive feedback and perspectives will be collected.

Insights generated at the workshop will build on the participants’ expertise to inform both the roadmap and white paper.
