On behalf of the BeWell consortium, you're invited to join members of the health workforce participating in the Pilot Training for Urgent Needs for Digital Skills that started initially and officially back on 22 January, 2024 and continues its work until 15 April 2024.
The BeWell project addresses the need to prepare the health and care workforce for green and digital solutions introduced in the European health and care systems, to ensure they can respond to current and future challenges.
The Pilot Training aims to address the urgent needs for both Digital Skills and Green Skills that have arisen in the health sector, during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the urgent needs skills/training needs related to digital are: big data, cybersecurity, data protection management, healthcare ICT (including e.g., electronic health records), problem-solving, and telehealth.
The Pilot Training is open until 15 April, 2024. Organisations and people can engage in this piloting activity at any time until then. The important thing is that the organisation completes the pilot by 15 April 2024, the date on which BeWell will close this phase. Your organisation might be e.g., a regional health or care authority or a hospital.
This invitation is accompanied by a description of the topics involved in the pilot training and the types of members of the health workforce encouraged to get involved. Types range over administrators, doctors, nurses, public health specialists, technicians.
