This spring, the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) and DigitalHealthEurope (DHE) are collaborating to promote their twinning schemes.

In spring 2020, two initiatives supporting the scaling up of digital transformation for health and care in Europe, including in the fields of active and healthy ageing, are working together to promote their twinning schemes.

The two twinning schemes are making available over 400,000 EUR in financial support to cover successful submissions to both Calls. They are expected to fund up to 35 twinnings, and to generate a focus on some 30 different types of solutions.

Twinning opportunities are available to both large and small organisations, with different planning ambitions, diverse levels of capacity, and varying expectations for their budgets.

In both cases, webinars will offer you more information.

DigitalHealthEurope twinnings

The DHE call focuses on supporting local, regional and national health and care providers in Europe (adopters) that wish to adopt innovative solutions which are available for transfer from another local, regional and national health and care provider (originators) in Europe.

The call supports three priorities for scaling up digital solutions in Europe:

  • Citizens’ secure access to and sharing of health data.
  • Better data to advance research, disease prevention and personalized health and care.
  • Citizen empowerment and person-centered care in Europe (in particular, citizen/patient-focused solutions and care practitioners’ solutions).

The budget offered to each twinning scheme ranges from 5,000 EUR to 43,000 EUR.
